Lynn was elected in May 2006 to serve Kingswinford North & Wall Heath following the successful campaign she led to save Maidensbridge Primary School from closure. She lost her seat in the May 2010 Election.
Since losing her seat she is still actively campaigning to help Mothers who have had their children taken from them by Social Services, through no fault of their own, and to help in the campaign across the country to stop forced adoptions.
